Fire alarm pull station height requirements.
Nfpa 72 requires that manual pull stations be installed within 60 inches of the exit doorway of each exit mounted between 42 inches and 48 inches to the center of the handle and among other things be red in color.
In addition the pull lever should be within reach range or between 48 inches and 15 inches above the finish floor or ground.
In addition the requirements for visible fire alarms are required to meet the following standards.
If the path to the ada compliant fire extinguisher or pull station is unobstructed the operable part must be placed from 15 inches to 48 inches off of the finished floor or ground.
Manual fire alarm boxes shall be red in color.
In this case height is measured from the floor to the operable part of each manual fire alarm box according to section 5 13 4 of nfpa 72 2007 edition mounting height must be between 3 and 4 feet from floor to handle.

Under the ada audible alarms must have a sound level that is not greater than 110 db.
